Horrible Surprise

So after hanging out with friends, another friend surprised me for the weekend. She ended up staying with me and so that meant a weekend binge fest. I just feel awful. We had to eat out for breakfast lunch and dinner =( Ugggghhhh. I know I gained weight. I just want to fast so bad right now. She just left and I can't wait to not eat. I am cringing at the thought of all the junk food I was pretty much forced to eat.

Also I have a horrible dependency on diet soda. I need recommendations on how to switch away from it or to drink a substitute or something. I just love the carbonation and no calories but I do understand it is bad for me. Thanks so guys for following and commenting on my blog. I have been busy this weekend so I will be catching up on all the blogs. I hope you guys are doing well.

hey, i have your same problem with my addiction to diet soda...i have been trying to substitute it with just carbonated water like seltzer or perrier, i usually squeeze a wedge of lemon or lime into it because they are low cal but can rev up your metabolism and makes it taste a whole lot better. seltzer is a lot cheaper than soda too! but make sure its sodium free because you don't want to retain water!

Oh that sucks so bad : ( And eating out where you don't have any control is just the worst feeling : / But now you can get back to your healthy self ; ) I hate how much society uses food for social situations. Seriously, my social life has dwindled because of my restriction and fasting and it's kind of sad.
And I'm so glad you liked my picture ; )
Hmmm...I too have problems with diet soda but am now down to just one a day. I drink hot lemon water. That makes me full and it's supposed to speed up your metabolism and keep bloating down. It works for me ; ) And of course I drink a ton of tea....S is right about carbonated water. I have just discovered it and think it's great because it has minerals and is fizzy, but without the aspartame : D
Stay strong <3

you poor girl :(
im sorry i am really tired and this prolly wont be a long comment.. did you read my post about artificial sweeteners in diet soda? :) if you take club soda, 2 tsps vanilla extract, and a couple packets of stevia.. you have your own cream soda! zero cal too!

You can also try green tea. This is healthy, it helps eliminate bad toxines, and zero calories. I know there are no bubbles, but it's good too! During summer, I usually drink it cold with lemon.

Like Lily, I was going to recommend green tea, but they have the new fizzy kind. I haven't tried it, but I want to. I'm addicted to green tea as it is.

Yep, totally hooked on the carbonated crack too. I try to keep it to 1-2 cans per day. I honestly think my overconsumption of diet soda is partially responsible for my current obesity. In high school, between me and my mother, we'd go through 1-2 2 liter bottles per day. Gross, huh?

green tea and juice are my favorite, but only if you REALLY enjoy it. otherwise you just go back to soda. or sparkling water which is yummmy!
